I didn't say anything about universal background checks. I said we already have background checks. Universal background checks wont do one thing to stop any gun violence and it isn't designed to. It is designed to make a federal list of everyone who has a gun, so the government can keep track of you and your gun. **** THAT! You don't need to know I have a gun. It isn't any of your damn business and every country that has this crap law, has had their guns taken away.

Waiting periods don't do anything. The vast majority of gun violence is done with stolen guns. Going after the point of sale for gun laws in general doesn't work. Anti-gun people use the point of sale to go after guns in general to get rid of them. You say you aren't for that but that is what those laws are designed to do.
